How Refereeing Works:
Interested in refereeing this season? Follow the steps below to make sure you are informed, registered and ready to be scheduled.

Step 1: Read the Required Information
Before signing up, please review the documents listed above: league hand signals, official FIVB hand signals, and league rules. Referees should understand the basic rules, signals and responsibilities before officiating.

Step 2: Register as a Referee
Once you’ve reviewed the information, complete the referee registration form so we know you’re interested and can consider you for upcoming games.

Step 3: Add Your Availability
After registering, add your availability for specific game times. This does not confirm your assignment; it simply adds your name to the availability list.

Step 4: Check for Your Assignment
Check this referee page or your Team Hub regularly to see if you’ve been selected. Schedules are usually posted Wednesday afternoons, so we recommend checking then.

Step 5: Arrive on Time
If assigned to a game, please arrive at least 10 minutes before the game starts so you have time to prepare and help keep games on schedule.

Step 6: Receive Your Compensation
Referees receive compensation for completed games. After 5 games, you can receive a $40 credit toward your next season registration, or choose to be paid $7 per game.
